September often feels like the start of a new year, with kids back to school and a change of seasons. The last throes of summer and then the air starts to cool.

This September feels like it has taken longer to get ‘back into the swing of things’ especially as there is so much uncertainty around. We’re trying some new things at Ware to Work, using the space for weekend workshops or evening clubs or societies.

We plan some themed work days such as ‘Focus Friday’ – bring that piece of work that is important but not urgent and get it done (before it becomes urgent!). We at Ware to Work will provide accountability, set some breaks and help you make sure you get it done. For those running small businesses or self-employed we plan some half day sessions where everyone will work on their own need in a specific area, whether sorting your mailing lists, updating your website, or getting your social media scheduled – we need to do that too (!)

There has been much talk in the media and from various commentators, since the start of the pandemic about ‘new ways of working’ and ‘hybrid working’, that working locally will become more common. We hope that some people from Ware and whereabouts will find the option of working on Ware High Street one or a few days a week one way of getting back into the swing of things.

We have a few regulars now working here regularly two or three days a week. Come and join us!
